ladies well
Ladies Well is a special place, where visitors can enjoy the cool waters of the Allyn River surrounded by granite boulders and lush forest.
Located within the eastern portion of Chichester State Forest on the Allyn River, in the foothills of the Barrington Tops, Ladies Well is a popular swimming hole - especially in the warmer months - featuring cascades and sun-warmed rocks.
mt. allyn
Mount Allyn is a mountain with an elevation of 1,125 metres (3,691 ft) AHD that is part of the Allyn Range, located within the Chichester State Forest. Snow often falls in winter. Much of the mountain is covered in Antarctic Beech cool temperate rainforest. There is dirt-road access to the peak.
*Please note it is recommended to always check the weather prior to going on any of the rainforest walks in Chichester State Forest. Some walks and access roads may be closed or inaccessible due to wet or severe weather conditions. Always tell someone where you are going beforehand, especially if you are planning to go by yourself.
