St Helena - A labour of Love to a New Chapter
​Hello! I'm Cathie. My husband Glenn and I are the owners of St Helena River Retreat, and we will be your hosts.

We bought our gorgeous slice of Heaven "St Helena" in January 2025 after sharing many family holidays in the area watching our children grow and explore, creating memories not to be forgotten.
St Helena has over 110 years of history. The previous owners Kerry and Paul, honoured and protected the stories of the families that laboured here before us. It was a labour of love for the both of them to bring the two old farm buildings back to life so others could come and experience the beauty that surrounds us.
We were drawn to the peace and tranquillity of the rural countryside of the Barrington Tops and in particular St Helena. The natural beauty of the landscape, with its rolling hills and crystal-clear river, as well as the old buildings, orchards, and timber cattle yards seated beneath the magnificient old trees, brought a sense of calm to our world.​ We hope to create many more special moments with our family and friends as we gather for picnics, swimming and warming around the fire.

We are so excited to continue the story of "St Helena" and can't wait to welcome you to our farm, and hope that our little place on the Allyn River brings a time of peace and happiness to those who choose to stay here.
